In my opinion I feel that I did a good job and am proud of the outcome of my work. I learned a lot about using shadows for adding depth. It makes it look as though the two big front pieces are really in front of the ones in the back. We had to take pictures of our game boards and this was the one I chose. Then I drew the picture as best to the photograph as I could. Next we took water colors and painted everywhere very lightly. Lastly I took colored pencils and went over everything except the blue background. I drew with the colored pencils in detail and it made everything look much better. I learned how to have a vanishing point and I think I did good with it.

1.     Describe the overall composition of your artwork (balance, unity, rhythm and movement).
I did good on this project, especially since this was my first time printmaking. The colors that I chose work well together and look good.

2.     How did you add texture and contrast to your print? Is this important? Why?
I added texture and contrast by adding spots to the coral. Also I put lines on the fish's fins to add texture and make them look better.
3.     Explain how you used positive and negative space to show your image.
I used positive and negative space by putting a line that separates the fish from its fins. I feel that a few of the serparating lines should have been a little bigger to show that the coral and the fish are not connected.

4.     Describe the craftsmanship of your print. (How good the project is technically crafted)
In my opinion i did a pretty good job on this print. I really liked how it turned out and wouldn't change much.
5.     Were you able to achieve depth by showing a foreground, middle ground and back- ground? Explain.
I feel that i showed depth in the fore, middle, and background. I drew the coral behind the fish in some parts and made them overlap to add depth.
6.     Explain your experience with Printmaking. What were the obstacles and advantages?
The biggest obstacle in my opinion was that you never knew how it was going to turn out in the end after you carved it out. Also that once you cut something out, you couldn't undo it. But this was much more fun and a interesting project.

1. Explain your experience working on a team and executing your ideas for the mural.
Working on a team was a lot better and more fun than working by my myself. It helped me because i didn't have to do the stuff I am not very good at. Also I had mt team mates opinions if I needed them.
2. Explain the importance of collaboration when working on a team.
We had to collaborate or else it would have not looked good or have been fun. It was also important because on some parts of the drawing we couldn't reach so we had to have a taller team mate do it. I feel that we collaborated good and our mission was accomplished.
3.  How successful was this project? Explain how and why.
I feel that this project was completed how I imagined it. We collaborated very good and had great team work. I can't think of anything that we could have done better.
4. Explain how you feel about creating artwork that others can interact with. Ex. Invoving the whole school? In my opinion this is the best kind of art work. This is because you never know what kind of person will walk into and not even know it. This is probably my favorite piece so far.
1. Why is texture so important to have in your sketches?
Texture makes your animal come to life and really stand out.

2. Why is it neccessary for you to have several references of each animal and each background? Explain.
It is important because you need to see the animal in different angles and different views. The background is important because you need to have options of what background you will draw.

3. When you look at your sketches are you able to see which sketch is the strongest and will make the best print? How do you know this?
I think the animal that needs the least shading will look the best because you can't shade in the print.

4. What worked about this project? What didn’t work?
What worked for me is that i blended the colors good. Everything worked.
5. If you were to do this project over again, what changes would you consider making?
I might experiment with different colors.
6. What was the most difficult part about completing this piece and why?
The shading and coloring of my cube.
7. What did you learn from this piece?
I learned to shade and blend colors.
